Admin Access & Editing Guide

Open Admin (Studio) Enable Preview (replace secret) Disable Preview

Note: “Enable Preview” requires a private PREVIEW_SECRET set in Cloudflare Pages. Do not share this value publicly.

1) Sign in to the Studio

  1. Navigate to /studio. Access is protected with Cloudflare Access (Google/Microsoft SSO).
  2. Once signed in, you’ll see “Documents” such as Hero (homepage) and Site Settings (logo, navigation, SEO).
  3. Click a document to edit titles, copy, links, and images. Changes autosave as drafts until you publish.

2) Images

  • Upload high‑resolution images directly in Studio. Use the crop/hotspot tool to control focus.
  • Images are optimized automatically on the site via Sanity’s image CDN.

3) Preview drafts (optional)

Preview lets you view unpublished content on the live site.

  1. Ask your developer for the PREVIEW_SECRET value configured in Cloudflare Pages.
  2. Open this URL in the same browser session: /api/preview?secret=YOUR_SECRET (replace YOUR_SECRET).
  3. Visit any page. You’ll see draft content immediately. To turn it off use /api/preview?secret=YOUR_SECRET&mode=disable.

Caching note: pages are cached briefly at the edge; give it ~30 seconds or refresh if changes don’t appear right away.

4) Publish

Click Publish in Studio to make changes live. With SSR on Cloudflare Pages, updates publish immediately.

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t access /studio? Ensure your email is allowed in Cloudflare Access.
  • Preview not working? Confirm you used the correct PREVIEW_SECRET and that a SANITY_READ_TOKEN is set.
  • Images not showing? Re-upload in Studio and ensure the field is published.
